Our Willow, had 11 piglets on Valentines Day.
It was a rare, warm, dry day in February. The best type of day to have babies. And babies she did have! 10 boys and 1 little girl were nestled in a big pile of straw she had made into a nest for her new family when we snuck out to check on her that Sunday morning.
Race forward one month and here we are!
The little fatties are eating big pig food and gaining well.
I lured the piggies out of their straw cave into the sun and mud for a few pictures. It’s really wet this time of year. The Earth is just oozing. And it shows on the animals.
But the piggies don’t seem to mind the mud.
