And so we said goodbye the first of the fatties.
Three of them, two borrows and our only little gilt, went to their new homes. It was a quiet and simple move: lure each group into our large dog kennel with food bits (sweet piggies are suckers for bits) and simply close the door behind. Then move them into the truck for a ride to their next home.
Willow and I discussed the fact that some of her babies will be living somewhere else and some will stay with us.
She said she understood. And gave me a kiss.
