We got a new kitten! His name is Rhett~ as in “Frankly, my dear….”
I’ve had several cats of my own over my lifetime~ both as a girl growing up in Texas and in my house before I got married. But since SOMEONE is allergic to cats (not me but I’m not saying who or casting stones), I haven’t been able to have a kitty since I got married.
Now we have several family members who are allergic to cats so after much discussion (about pocket gophers eating the raspberry roots all winter and voles in the garden eating our hard earned produce and field mice in our garage) it was decided that it was time for a cat! Yay!
He will be an outside cat as soon as he is a bit older and wiser in the ways of the farm (IE: chickens and chicks are off limits to kittens).
He’s really Rachael’s kitten and he’s squirmy (so most of his pictures are a bit blurry.)
I think his eyes will be green.
What do you think?
This is exactly, word for word what today’s NOAA weather site stated for our area:“Today will be the last warm and dry day! Beginning early Tuesday: a cool, wet, and breezy system will spread across the region, bringing rainfall, a chance for thunderstorms, and light snow to high elevations above 6000 feet. Anyone planning on participating in outdoor activities may be impacted by cooler, damp weather and breezy winds.”
And as long as we are talking weather~ it’s suppose to be 36 degrees Wednesday night.
36? Wednesday night?
How is a girl supposed to grow tomatoes when it’s 36 degrees at night, I ask you?!!!
