We DID have glorious sun yesterday.
All day the sun shone and vitamin D was splashing about in the form of sun rays.
Our animals rushed into the light and sprawled out. The sun didn’t possess much heat. But nobody seemed to mind.

The boys forgot to take the camera with them today. So I took pictures from the safety of my driveway (sitting in the car) and the front porch where there was no chance of my slipping on the ice.
The chickens scooted about looking for the tiniest morsels. The pigs rearranged their bed room with Willow taking the lead of what went where. Then they settled in for a nap after all their hard work.
The house animals stretched and sniffed and did their dog things.

The weather is supposed to change tomorrow. More snow is in the forecast. I’m not sure when we will see the sun again. So we will love it while it’s here.
Today’s count: Nothing. Not one dang egg. We were getting 5-8 eggs a day back in December. I guess I’m going to have to bundle up and have one of the boys pull me on a sled out to the coop to see what’s going on~ crutches and all. It’ll be an adventure. I’ll be sure to take pictures.
What’s for supper: Bacon cheese burgers with sauteed mushrooms and onions. Sweet potato fries. Green beans for vegetables.
Weather tonight: Increasing clouds, with a low around -11. Wind chill values as low as -18. Calm wind becoming northwest around 5 mph after midnight.
looks like a great place to live!
