We had another front blow into our valley while we were at church.
Lots of snow and winds right out of the east.
No one is impressed.
I took a bit of video looking toward the north where the big red barn and our sweet Maisy and Maggie are snuggled. If you turn up the sound you can hear the wind. (You can also see a couple of little spots on the lens that I can’t seem to remove. I think I need a new camera.)
After I placed the supper roast into the oven, I trudged down downstairs to check on the basement garden.
LOOK! Tiny little tomatoes! These guys popped up in just 7 days!

Go babies, go!
These toms were started in peat pot 2 weeks ago. I just filled the coffee cup with good potting soil, opened up the peat pot a little and backfilled with soil.

I was planning to wait for more leaves to appear before repotting these peppers.

Aaaahhhh….. I feel better. The winds can blow and it can snow and the temperatures can be all cold. But it will be March next week. HA!
You can’t hold spring back forever.
Today’s count: 13 eggs.
What’s for supper: Pork roast with horseradish sauce, mashed potatoes with (dehydrated) kale, green beans and cheese/ olive bread.
Weather: Snow. High near 29. East wind 5 to 9 mph becoming south southwest. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Total daytime snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible. Tonight Snow showers likely. Cloudy, with a low around 11. North northeast wind 9 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of around an inch possible.
That’s a lot of snow! But, the tiny plants look wonderful. I’d keep looking at them:)
