And so we return from an unexpected internet interruption~ a 5 day interruption.
But that’s what we love about living on the bald naked prairie, out in the middle of nowhere, out where the prairies meet the mountains, where the wind swept pastures blow sweetly~ spotty internet service.
No matter. The only action we’ve had lately is from the weather.
Rain. Rain. Almost snow. Rain.
But all that should begin to slow starting today. We only have a tiny chance of rain and temperatures are to begin warming as well. A look ahead at the long term forecast shows no temperatures below the freeze zone either.
In the meantime, we DID have a couple of wonderful additions to the farm late last week.
More on that tomorrow!!!!
Now I must run outside and check on our new charges. I think I see someone or a few someones out of their specially constructed hut!
What’s for supper: baked ham, potato salad and fruit salad ( the grocery store has cantaloupe, pineapple and honeydew melons on sale! Yay!)
Today’s count: 38 eggs
Weather: Isolated showers before noon. Patchy fog before noon. Otherwise, partly sunny, with a high near 53. Light southwest wind becoming west southwest 5 to 10 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 20%. Tonight mostly cloudy, with a low around 35. West wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light and variable in the evening.
