The wind is just screaming out of the west. Yesterday the temperatures were way up into the 80’s~ quite unusual for this time of year. And today the temperatures are expected to only reach the high 60’s. I guess that’s why the wind is so high.
The animals are completely unconcerned.
Pigs are still sleeping.
Cows are happy on grass.
Only the chickens seem disturbed. (They look like their dresses are being blown up around their ears.) 🙂
And me. The wind is unnerving for me. Plus, I’ve had to rescue items blowing around the farm. I think I’ve secured everything, then something else pulls loose and flaps around, threatening to escape into the woods in the wind.
I’ll be happy when this day is over.
Today’s count: 32 eggs, 4 gallons of milk.
