… because I misplaced the camera. Totally my fault and totally foolish. I’ve looked everywhere. But no joy (“no joy”. That’s what some civilian pilots say when telling a flight controller that they have NOT sighted the traffic the controller has called out to you. It’s a throwback from my flying days about a gajillion years ago.)
But I can tell you what we did today.
The boys moved a ton of square baled hay to the barn. We don’t have the hay elevator yet because the person we are borrowing the elevator from doesn’t have a trailer. I thought the elevator would fit on the truck (with a few parts hanging out the back) but I was wrong. So we have to wait for our neighbor to get home from work to ask if we can borrow his trailer. The boys have 2 tons left in the field to move. So that’s half completed. Daniel mowed the yard. Then helped Luke with the hay. Luke took the trash to the dump and did some homework, fed the pigs then helped Daniel with the hay. Rachael cleaned the front part of the house and did some homework. I milked Maisy, fed the chickens and gathered eggs, weeded all the gardens and weed eated (weed ate?) around the gardens and yard. Now I’m starting supper. Daniel is running out for a haircut (thank GOODNESS!! More on this later). Luke is just about to blast out of here to deliver some eggs to a customer and go to CrossFit. Rachael is filling out her financial aid info for college.
Whew! I’m glad it’s almost time to go to bed.
Oh no! It’s only 1645 (4:45 pm)! Ok so it’s Miller Time instead! (remember that slogan from an ooooold beer commercial?)
So I’m-just-going-to-close-my-eyes-for-a-second before I start supper.
