Camera~ found!

It’s 2030 (8:30 pm), 91 degrees outside, 84 degrees inside.  I wish there was a smiley face for sweating profusely.

But the good news is that I found the camera!

It was in the chicken coop! (bleck) The poor thing is just about on it’s last leg. The button that you push to take the picture doesn’t always work. It doesn’t zoom anymore and though it has multiple functions (you know like WiFi, flash, manuel), only one of the functions works~ thank goodness it’s the point and click function.

Vases full of blooms on the way to a local cafe

So taking pics is sometimes challenging. But when it works, it does a really nice job.

Plus, it’s the only one I’ve got! So I LOVE this camera!

Garden update: The garden is LOVING the heat. As long as I put enough water on it, it seems to thrive.

Luke harvested all the garlic last week. Here it is in the final stages of drying on the north porch before storage.

Some of the heads are smallish. SAM_7997.JPG     We’ll eat those first.

SAM_7996.JPG       The larger heads will be broken into cloves for planting in October.

The piglets are growing but very slowly.SAM_8009 (2).JPG

The feed man told me that all the folks in our surrounding area are making the same comment. I’m thinking it’s the heat. We feed them in the early mornings and late in the evenings. They seem happy and are always hungry. But their growth has kind of stalled out. The county fair is in 2 1/2 weeks. I’m not sure they will make weight.

We’ll just keep pushing the food and the good Jersey milk. I must talk to Maisy and see if I can persuade her to give just a bit more for the piglets.

Sweet dirty faces….

The flowers in the garden are amazing! Here is a bucket of blooms destined for hand tied bouquets. I can’t believe we still have snapdragons! They are supposed to be cool loving flowers. Cool~ it hasn’t been! What a nice surprise!
