We had a huge storm that started Thursday afternoon gaining power until peaking last night. 28 mph northeastern winds and biting cold changed our landscape from a winter wonderland to a weird moonscape.
The wind can do interesting things to snow.
The power is awesome. And sometimes it’s kind of scary. I don’t think I’ve ever seen this much snow on our front porch.
This drift greeted me when I opened the garage door. It definitely makes for that “snowed in” feeling.
But we are warm and have everything we need. Food~ lots of food, comfort, and we are together. So we’re good.
Some of us are “gooder” than others.
