We had another huge storm. Another 18 inches of snow was dumped on our town over the last 48 hours.
18 inches!
On top of the 2 feet-ish we already have.
And the wind blew.
And blew.
And blew. And drifted. And trapped us in the house for a day.
But the storm blew itself out finally and it was cold and clear through the night.
It was – 11 degrees on my front porch this morning. I think we are still under a windchill warning until tomorrow. And -16 expected tonight. Brrrrrr.
All is well with the animals. They all had super full bellies and they hunkered down and came through without loss.
And we have to dig out from the snow. Again. But the sun is shining and though cold, the light is wonderful!
Paradise~ just north of nowhere.
Today’s count: 3 eggs! All frozen but they are here!!! Yay!
What’s for supper: Chili with olive cheese bread I think
Weather: Partly sunny, with a high near 14. Northeast wind 3 to 5 mph. Tonight partly cloudy, with a low around -16. Light northwest wind.
Looks COLD! Does it still feel like paradise?
