It’s snowing. And was -17 on the front porch this morning. Bleck.

Instead of showing the same old tired images of the snow covered farm, I thought I’d show some of the other things that are going on in our home.DSC01690 (2)

But first, cow pictures. DSC01686 (3)

Our lovely cows.

DSC01725A few forsythia branches in bloom~ I brought these inside about a month ago. They are  flowering and leafing out. Just gazing at these blooming branches lifts my spirits. I’m such a goofball!DSC01730

Mountains with almost clear skies.

The south facing window sill. DSC01723

And the food~ of course.

Home grown bacon and strawberry waffles. Yum!

More tomorrow~ I think I see the sun trying to peek out!!!! Yippee!

What’s for supper: Rustic mushroom bread pudding. I haven’t made this before but another blogger I follow posted this. I’m going to try it and let you know tomorrow. I’ll post the recipe and pics too.

Today’s count: no eggs 😦  I guess it’s just too dark for the girls to be laying consistently yet.

Weather:  A 70 percent chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 15. Calm wind becoming south southeast around 5 mph. Tonight mostly cloudy, with a low around -7. Light and variable wind.
