I’ve been seeing all sorts of birds lately, thank goodness. I’m so very glad. They are harbingers of spring. But the one that I’ve been anxiously watching for has finally appeared. I saw a robin! Annnnd look what I see~ the reappearance of our driveway! That is grass we are seeing!
And also the trek to the neighbor’s greenhouse is starting to clear!
It won’t be much longer before I get to play in the garden, too! YAY!
Well. Maybe I have a little longer to wait on the garden.
Also~ Maisy says “hi”
Today’s count: 8 eggs! None frozen!
What’s for supper: Shepherd’s pie~ I think I’m going to rename this “porky pie” because I’m making it with ground pork instead of mutton 🙂
Weather: Scattered snow showers before noon, then a slight chance of rain and snow showers. Increasing clouds, with a high near 44. South wind around 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible. Tonight a slight chance of rain and snow showers before midnight, then a chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 27. South wind 5 to 9 mph becoming calm after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible. (I’m going to ignore the four letter word that begins with “s” and ends with “now”.)
What I’m reading: City of Thieves by David Benioff
We have been seeing several of the robins. The worms come up as the soil gets saturated.
